Emma-Jayne Browne

Hello! I'm Emma-Jayne, I'm a qualified Child Therapist, Adult Psychotherapist and Parent Coach with over 23 years experience of working therapeutically with children and families.

I live in North Yorkshire, England with my husband, 2 now almost adult daughters and little dog, Maggie.

I am passionate about empowering parents/carers to support and transform their child's emotional/mental health. I am fascinated by the human brain and the mind-body connection and I love translating Relational Neuroscience (the parts of the brain and nervous system that keep us in connection with ourselves and others) for parents/carers and making it practical, useful, and ultimately- life changing for families.

I believe wholeheartedly in the transformational power of the parent-child relationship and that any healing within a child has to start with supporting the parent.

Recovery from my own lifelong struggle with anxiety and parenting 2 children with significant anxiety/neurodiversity has led me to develop this easy to implement method of empowering parents to transform their child's excess anxiety and/or early childhood trauma into resilience and inner strength

I created my 2 Therapeutic Parenting programmes (Raising the Brave & Bridge to Belonging ) as a result of seeing the increase in child anxiety issues, particularly since Covid, together with a lack of resources in the UK. This motivated me to combine my 23 years clinical experience and specialist training with my own lived experience of what really works on a deep level to transform Anxiety & Developmental trauma into greater Resilience, Confidence and Healing

I know these programmes are life changing and I feel honoured I get to be on this journey with you. Can't wait to meet you on the other side...
